Decorative Dividers

Postby Lily on Sat Sep 23, 2006 10:17 pm

Alright, well because I such a nerd, I have taken the interest in decorating my subject dividers for highschool. The idea just popped into my head one day when I was trying to sleep, so here are the results. They look a tad better for real than with the camera, for some reason.

They were all made using cut outs from magazines...

Dude. If you're a nerd, then let me join the club. I used to (and still do) do that ALL the time...in elementary school, when I'd get my school books and would make paper-bag covers, I'd decorate those...then in middle school, I'd take computer paper and glue-stick it on to the divider things in my binder, and decorate that with collages of the Backstreet Boys and doodles...that is seriously like a semester ritual for me to do that...this semester I even made a big, big blend in Photoshop, printed out three copies of it, and glued them onto my notebook covers. I totally geek out about such things. I really like them though...*really* like them...now I'm inspired to make collages! Yes!

Those are awesome - especially the Social Studies one :)
And if you're a nerd, than I am too since I decoupaged the front of my file folder with magazine cut-outs too...I'll scan/take a picture sometime.
